Alpakas als Therapietiere

A great moment of lust for freedom on the Lebenshofalpakas

We were on the road again and followed the invitation of the lovely Tina to her alpaca farm!

While alpacas were traditionally bred as wool suppliers, today they are also increasingly kept as leisure and therapy animals.

  • Alpaca hikes: In many countries, including Germany, there are now alpaca farms that offer guided hikes with alpacas. The gentle animals, which are characterized by their calm and relaxed nature, often have a calming effect on people and are easy to lead. Alpaca hikes offer a unique opportunity to enjoy nature together with these special animals.

  • Therapy animals: Due to their friendly and patient nature, alpacas are also used in animal-assisted therapy. Children and people with disabilities or mental illnesses in particular benefit from interacting with the fluffy companions.

Tina has realized her dream and turned what was initially a hobby into her profession.
In addition to a form of therapy with the animals in a peaceful atmosphere, she also offers overnight stays in a tiny house, picnics and yoga classes on her farm!
A real power woman who has found her way!
"For me, the desire for freedom means making my own decisions. Acting outside of patterns and influences, reflecting and following the call of the soul. We find our soul's path quite automatically, and the desire to serve it means freedom for me."
